What is ADHD?

(ADHD) is a condition affecting children and adults that is characterized by problems with attention, impulsivity, and overactivity.

  • It affects between 5-8 percent of school age children, and between 2-4 percent of adults.

  • Often, when a child has ADHD, a parent will find it difficult to place the child in a daycare setting.

  • Some daycares inability to proactively work with the child may be masked in their "safety" concerns or simply that the child is "not successful" in their school or daycare.

At Thrive, we focus on the child, building our program around their needs. We strive to allow them to thrive. Our goal is to give the child a chance to succeed!
